We may store each financing request as a separate record and send transactional emails about that request. These messages may include an expiring secure access link that lets you view limited request details or continue a saved application without creating a username or password. If you request a replacement link by email, we use the submitted address to locate eligible financing requests without confirming on the website whether a matching request exists. Secure links are intended only for the recipient and should not be forwarded.

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages and phone calls from Pillar Private Lending regarding your loan inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or by contacting us directly.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third-party marketers.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us with website hosting, analytics, CRM, and communication services. • Lending Partners: When necessary to process or fund your loan, we may share information with capital partners, title companies, appraisers, and other parties involved in the transaction. • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process. • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Pillar may offer an optional on-site AI Financing Assistant that answers general investor-financing questions. You do not need to provide your name, email address, phone number, or create an account to use it.

If you send a message to the Financing Assistant, the text of that message is processed so a response can be generated. That processing is performed by a third-party service provider (currently OpenAI) acting on our behalf. Please do not enter Social Security numbers, passwords, bank-account numbers, credit-report identifiers, or other sensitive authentication or identification information in the chat.

Where microphone dictation is offered, it is optional. You may keep typing instead. If you use the microphone, your browser records a short clip so it can be transcribed into the chat box. You can review and edit that text before sending it. The Financing Assistant replies in text only and does not speak back. The audio clip is sent to OpenAI as a processor acting on our behalf, then discarded by Pillar. Please do not share Social Security numbers, passwords, bank account numbers, or other sensitive account information by voice or text.

Using the Financing Assistant is optional and is not a substitute for submitting a loan inquiry. If you choose to check loan options, book a call, or apply, those forms are separate and are described elsewhere in this policy.

In the current design, Pillar does not store full chat transcripts, microphone recordings, or dictated transcripts in our customer databases or CRM. We may analyze questions in sanitized or de-identified form — for example topic, product category, and hashed session identifiers — to improve Pillar’s website, tools, and financing experience. Those records are product analytics, not a full conversation archive, and they are not fully anonymous if a session identifier is stored. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, bank-account numbers, or other sensitive identification information. Operational logs may include limited metadata such as time, success or failure, the model used, and which calculator tools were called — not audio and not the full text of your messages. OpenAI’s processing of API requests is subject to OpenAI’s then-current API data-handling practices. We do not claim zero data retention.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
